A Sanctuary of Rare and Remarkable Fibers

At Bauman’s Fiber Farm, our passion for fiber goes beyond sheep. Alongside our beloved Valais Blacknose flock, we raise majestic yaks and delightfully fluffy angora rabbits—each cared for with deep respect and dedication to ethical, sustainable farming.

Valais Blacknose Sheep – Gentle, charismatic, and adored for their long, beautiful locks, crimpy wool.
Yaks – Resilient and regal, their downy undercoat yields an ultra-warm fiber with a luxurious, cashmere-like feel.
Angora Rabbits – Small in size, but mighty in softness—their fiber adds an airy lightness and halo to hand-spun creations.
